OBLIVION is a privacy-first, AI-powered search engine operated by Oblivion Technologies LLC. The service aggregates results from multiple third-party search engines and augments them with local AI analysis and safety scoring. OBLIVION is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use OBLIVION only for lawful purposes. You may NOT use OBLIVION to:

• Conduct automated scraping or bulk querying without prior written authorization.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems.
• Circumvent any rate limiting, authentication, or access controls.
• Submit queries that violate applicable law, including queries designed to locate illegal content.
• Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Distribute malware, phishing links, or engage in fraud through any feature of the service.

3. Intellectual Property

The OBLIVION name, logo, and software are the intellectual property of Oblivion Technologies LLC. All rights reserved. Search results are sourced from third-party engines and are subject to those providers' respective terms. AI-generated summaries are provided as-is and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without written consent.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

OBLIVION is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that search results will be accurate, complete, or current. Search results reflect third-party indexes which are outside our control.

AI-generated answers are experimental and may contain errors. Do not rely on AI answers for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oblivion Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

6. Third-Party Services

OBLIVION relies on third-party services including Cloudflare (CDN/security) and multiple search engine APIs. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third parties. Links to external sites in search results are provided as-is; we do not endorse any external website.

7. Privacy

Your use of OBLIVION is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue OBLIVION at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming.
